Meet Smart Green Clean
Frederick W. Palmquist was born in Pennsylvania and raised in Maryland. After graduation, he joined the Marine Corps Reserves, and a career highlight was meeting Madeline Albright, who acknowledged his leadership. After his deployment, Fred trained as a mechanic, excelling to the point of being offered a teaching position, but he chose to become a chief mechanic at a local motorcycle shop. He later joined Harley Davidson, where he worked on wiring motorcycle sidecars for the presidential motorcade.
​Fred then transitioned to the construction industry. He managed successful offices in Indiana, Denver, and Phoenix, working with governmental agencies to secure permits and supervise employees. His expertise as a construction roofing expert led to a favorable verdict in a significant insurance case. After leaving the construction company, Fred returned to Maryland assisting his mother in her firm while contemplating and intended permanent relocation to Florida he completed courses in smart home programming and Florida construction, passing their exams.
​In 2015, Fred in fulfilling his dream of living in Florida, moved and renovated his home while starting to launch a smart home business. During the pandemic, he discovered a greater passion for the soft-washing industry and founded Smart Green Clean in 2020. Starting with a business initially running it from the back of his truck, he quickly expanded his fleet and gained extensive training and certifications. By 2022, Fred had added more vehicles to his fleet and achieved top recognition with SoftWash SystemsTM as an affiliate. He has been aggressive in completing and maintaining training to include education to qualify to be classified as a 5-star company. His steadfast commitment to consistency and pursuit of high standards continue to make him outstanding.
​Looking to not only develop himself and his company Fred continues to strive to collaborate with other leaders in the service industries. Most recently Fred began collaborating with other entrepreneurs from across the country who are engaged in the development of an AI-driven program that integrates customer relations management, marketing materials, business growth strategies, as well as accounting and booking information. This initiative aims to enhance the operations and success of service industry businesses and provide personal assistance to facilitate the individuals who select to use this tool which has reached completion to grow their own businesses at a faster rate.
